Molipop
Molipop Game Review

Molipop Review - by Valli S.

The game of Molipop takes you to southern China. This is a land full of treasures! You have to try to get as many gold coins as possible. The crystal jars are stopping you from getting the points. You have to get three colored crystal jars in a row in order to score points.

The music is like a soothing type of music playing in the background as you try to make matches of three in a row. There are sounds when matches are made, when 200 points are scored and when a butterfly pops a silver-golden ball. Since I felt that this game could be enhanced by a variety of music and sounds, I only gave this category and a rating of 5.
SOUND & MUSIC: 5

It seemed at first that making the matches would be easy. However, at times I would get a board where I would have no moves that I could make so I would have to start all over again. The silver-golden crystal balls were placed strategically on the board to prevent you from making matches. The only thing that could get rid of the balls was a butterfly. However it had to be moved close to the ball to do any good. This category got a rating of 8 from me.
GAMEPLAY: 8

The graphics consist of a board filled with colored crystal jars that are all very brightly colored. There were also silver-golden balls that could only be popped if a butterfly was on the board. I gave this category a rating of 7.

I found this game to be quite addicting as well as challenging. I tried to make as many matches as I could without using the hints. I also tried to rack up as many points as I could. There was also a bit of strategy to playing the game. When a butterfly appeared on the game board, you wanted to try to move it as close to a crystal ball as possible in order to pop the ball and gain access to the other crystal jars on the game board. It was just not a matter of making matches randomly. I thought that this category deserved a rating of 9.
FUN: 9

Final conclusion:
I would recommend this game for both younger children and challenging adults!
