Burger Rush Review - by Valli S.
This game is all about making burgers and selling them to your customers. The game opens in typical comic book fashion. Heidi wants to open her own shop to sell great tasting and nutritious burgers. You have a grid full of ingredients and you have to make matches in order to make a burger. If you happen to have any dissatisfied customers, you can give them some treats to make them happy. The treats are restored daily so you have them back again the next day.
There is nice 'elevator' music playing in the background of this computer game. There are sounds of a sizzling grill, cash register sounds, children saying 'awesome', women saying 'thank you', construction workers saying 'Um, yummy' and someone saying 'burger ready'. On a scale of 1-10, I gave this category a rating of 8.

The grill shows the ingredients needed for a customer’s burger. Use the game board to prepare the necessary ingredients. Swap and match at least three of the same ingredients in a row or column. When a burger is ready, click on a tray or grill to serve. Then click on the money to collect your profit. Be sure to serve your customer a burger before he or she runs out of patience. The more full a customer’s patience is, the more he or she will pay for the burger. Each machine will fill up after every match that you make. Click on a machine when it is 100% ready. Then click on a grill to add to an order. You can purchase treats from the shop to boost a customer’s patience. Candy restores 25% patience, cookies restores 50% patience and apple pie restores 100% patience. You may win tokens by completing the day’s goals or by clicking on them when they show up on the game board. On a scale of 1-10, I rated this category an 8.

There is an open and closed sign, a burger shop, a ketchup bottle, cheese, lettuce, tomato, burgers, drink machine, a French fry machine, tokens, treats and people buying burgers. On a scale of 1-10, I gave this category a rating of 8.

This is another typical matching game. However, you really have to be fast at making matches because you do not want your customers to wait and then lose patience. You always have different customers coming in to buy burgers – children, women and construction workers. You can also serve drinks and French fries to your customers. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. However, I was not as fast at playing the game as my 14-year-old was so I had several inpatient customers. On a scale of 1-10, I rated this category an 8.

Final conclusion:
If you think you would like working in the food industry, then you should definitely try this game. I think it would be appealing to the younger set because they tend to frequent the fast food joints. Try your hand at making burgers first by downloading the trial version!
