Paparazzi Review - by Valli S.
First of all, you are able to create your own profile. Then it is your job to cover some of the weird celebrity activity around the town. The very first assignment is to find out what Bridezilla Shellie Brighton is up to. Throughout the game, Lulu is your informant. You must look for hidden objects in a picture. Again, Lulu will tell you what to look for. You have to have enough cash in order for Lulu to give you a clue about your celebrity. If you make an incorrect answer for a hidden object, then $10 is taken off your total. The scenery changes with each level. This is a timed game, and when you run out of time you have to start all over again. In one act, you have to point out the differences between 2 pictures.
The main music throughout the game is piano music. It does changes slightly in some of the different acts, but it is essentially the same thing played over and over again. It gets to be monotonous and boring.
SOUND & MUSIC: 4
This is a difficult game to play as you have to find various hidden objects in a picture all in a certain amount of time. It got to be frustrating when I could not find the objects and could not proceed to the next level. If you do not meet the deadline in this game by finding all of the hidden objects, then you are taken all the way back to Act 1 only to start the process all over again.
GAMEPLAY: 7
The graphics are quite realistic. The hidden pictures are cleverly placed so that it takes real skill in finding them. There are many graphics crammed into one pictures so that it will make it even harder to find the hidden objects. There is no 3D to this game however. I must say that I was very impressed with the graphics.
GRAPHICS: 8
I found this game fun to play, but I also found it frustrating when I could not find the necessary objects. I had to really be on my toes because all of the levels are timed. I allowed my 13 year old to play this game, and she found it to be quite addicting! She was playing it long after I had finished. You know that this is a winner when it captures the attention of a teenager!
FUN: 9
Final conclusion:
I definitely would recommend the free trial of Paparazzi as it would give you a very good idea as to whether you would want to purchase this game. If finding hidden objects is not your forte, then I would say that you should probably pass on adding this computer game to your collection.
