Believe In Santa Review - by Urmii B.
As the name suggests, Believe in Santa, begins in the surrounding of the Christmas celebration. Just before Christmas, Sandy visits her granny and learns that granny's bank loan on her gift shops are due in 10 days. How is she going to make the money in such a short time? With the help of two cheerful elves, Sandy is off on a toy-making adventure, coloring and decorating toys for all of the shop's most choosy customers. If Sandy can pull it off, Santa will surprise her with upgrades for her business and take her for a winter sleigh ride on Christmas Eve.
As the title itself suggests the music brings the spirit of Christmas. The sound track is very beautiful. It suggests a beautiful rhythmic track.
SOUND & MUSIC: 7
The success of the game lies on the title's brilliant cartoon visuals, snow-filled introduction scene, which completely creates the atmosphere of winter, comic book style story interludes and a fun, filled guest appearance by old St.Nick himself.
The screen is colorful. Even the characters are designed so beautifully that you will fall in love with them. Sandy and the elves deserve special mention.
GRAPHICS: 7
I had the pleasure of playing the game for the first time on the Christmas day itself. I was touched by the way in which Santa himself welcomes you. At the same time I was introduced to Sandy. It was a pleasure.
The game begins with a problem that makes Sandy very worried about the day of Christmas itself. Her granny needs a large amount of money for her loan and it brings tears to her eyes. However, nobody can be depressed on a day like Christmas so Santa suddenly comes and offers a solution to the problem.
Thus the action begins. In the center of the screen rests a conveyor belt upon which toys appear when you pull the lever. You will have much more to do.
GAMEPLAY: 7
The game is an ideal one for the casual gamers who are very comfortable in playing a relaxed non-violent game. The game has the capacity to involve its gamer so much that the gamer gets really engrossed.
But the problem lies in one place that it does not allow you to make any mistake. If you do make a mistake, you cannot correct yourself. You will be forced to start from the beginning. In fact, that is fair enough as granny does not have enough time so you have to be very very careful. Santa cannot allow you to be careless as the problem is so big and major.
Doing repetitive work can bore Sandy. But Santa is totally convinced that he will make Sandy perfect by the logic - practice makes perfect. But you feel happy helping Sandy and her granny on the day of Christmas. The game is pleasurable and nice to play.
